Featuring NICOLE HENRY
Miami Beach’s beloved Jazz, Pop and Soul vocal star returns for a worldwide performance on South Florida Arts Beat. She’ll sing tunes from the ‘70’s on her latest recording, So Good, So Right: Nicole Henry Live (Banister Records), with her all-star band comprised of Chris Cadenhead on the piano, Aaron Lebos on guitar, Eric England on bass and Dave Chiverton at the drums. Recorded at her sold-out performances at Feinstein’s in New York City last May, the recording showcases Ms. Henry’s soulful, inspired interpretations of some of her favorite hits.
Since her debut in 2004, Ms. Henry has toured over 15 countries and has earned three Top 10 Jazz recordings on the U.S. Billboard and HMV Japan Jazz charts. The New York Times says she’s “… a Pop-Soul superwoman…” The Miami Herald says she’s “… the vocal love child of Whitney Houston and Sarah Vaughn.” Come experience her magic for yourself.
Please tune in worldwide on our website at WLRN.Org at 1:00pm, EST, U.S. on 3/8/13, for this exciting broadcast.
South Florida Arts Beat is generously co-sponsored by Pollo Tropical and Friends of WLRN.
