Live Jazz at Sammy B's in The Old Mill in Lebanon (TN)

SOURCE: Published: 2013-01-31

My two favorite pastimes are drinking wine and playing the bass. But most of my friends would rather hear me drink wine!" —Adapted from quote by Mark Twain

The former Bull & Whistle in the Mill at Lebanon has been transformed into Sammy B's at The Mill, and live jazz is again part of the scene. On Wednesday, February 6th from 7:00pm until 9:00pm the Glenn Martin Quartet will return to play jazz standards from such composers as Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Jobim, and Miles Davis. Players include Glenn on trombone, Dennis Burnside, piano, Hugh Bramhall, drums, and Wayne Renardson, acoustic bass.

Housed in the middle of a refurbished, recycled cotton mill, Sammy B's has good food and a relaxed atmosphere with jazz from a bygone era to lighten the spirit.

Free parking, no cover, no minimum.
