Scott Healy Ensemble "Hudson City Suite" Is Released
Los Angeles composer and pianist Scott Healy announces the release of “Hudson City Suite" by the Scott Healy Ensemble. Featuring Tim Hagans on trumpet, Healy on piano, and an all-star band, this fifty-six minute work was recorded April 30th and May 1st, 2012, at The Bridge in Glendale, CA. Nine original tracks are thematically linked, the music is spacious, rich, reverent to the past and looking forward. Hudson City Suite by the Scott Healy Ensemble is a conceptual and grooving large ensemble jazz tour de force.
