Pianist Peter Madsen is comfortable inside and outside of the jazz mainstream, and is a mainstay on the intrepid Playscape Recordings label. His latest disc, Prevue of Tomorrow, is an intriguing solo piano outing, taking music from some of his favourite pianists down new paths.
