Award-winning New Orleans guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Anders Osborne, touring in support of his powerful new Alligator Records CD, Black Eye Galaxy, will co-headline the HeadCount Participation Tour, along with Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk. The tour will stop in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and New York City on November 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

The HeadCount Participation Tour is part of a year-long celebration of the collaboration between Magic Hat Brewing Company and national voter registration organization, HeadCount. The main mission is to get people talking about their political passions and, most importantly, to register to vote in this fall's presidential election

Black Eye Galaxy is a harrowing but ultimately uplifting cycle of richly detailed songs that are musically and lyrically thought-provoking, exhilarating and completely engaging. Between the sheer force and potent lyricism of his guitar playing, the riveting depth of his songwriting and the straight-from-the-soul conviction of his vocals, Osborne is among the most original and visionary musicians writing and performing today. OffBeat magazine named Osborne the Crescent City's Best Guitarist in 2010 and 2011, and also named him the Best Roots Rock Artist of 2011. Concert information is as follows:
