New Orleans guitarist Jimmy Robinson will be playing some shows in Holland in the first week of December. Mr Robinson is best known for his role as the founder of the long running (1975 to present) instrumental group WOODENHEAD, founder of New Orleans guitar collective (with Phil deGruy and Cranston Clements) TWANGORAMA, and his critically acclaimed solo, acoustic CD Vibrating Strings.

Monday, December 6th, Dwaze Zaken, Prins Hendrikkade 50 early (9:30p.m.) and late (?) sets around John C Fraser & string quartet
Tuesday, December 7th Muziekcafe Rustenburgerstraat 384, 9 p.m.ish with The Amsterdam Songwriter's Guild
Thursday, December 9th, Amsterdam Bibliotheek, Oosterdokskade 143, 3 to 5 p.m. Performance and interview on Amsterdam FM
Jimmy is writing and recording his new CD while in Holland, as well as material for a new Woodenhead project.
