Coming off of a successful west coast run supporting the March 10 release of their new album Plug & Play, The New Mastersounds are pleased to announce an east coast album release tour.
The New Mastersounds will kick off their tour in Asheville, NC making their way south for a headlining show at House of Blues in New Orleans during the second weekend of Jazzfest. Along the way they will be paired with DJ Logic and Moon Taxi. Although NMS's music is widely popular amongst the DJ culture this will mark their first tour with a live DJ. BBC raves “the NMS are easily the best of the recent crop of bands for whom samplers are moribund, but valve amps provide the meaning of life." The pairing of DJ Logic's skills and NMS's funky soul jazz should provide for some exciting collaborations.
