45 years ago, recently celebrated its anniversary at Gracie Mansion, home to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who spoke of the importance of jazz and Jazzmobile. Adding commentary are Dr. Taylor, Robin Bell-Stevens (Executive Director), Darryl Gay (Chairman), and NYC Department of Cultural Affairs Commissioner Kate Levin. Pianist Christian Sands, a young protege of Dr. Taylor, also performs.
