FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jazz Radio Programmer, Gi Dussault has just requested to receive a copy of “New Africa Suite" by Alaadeen. Dussault will air selections from the new CD on the “Upper Room with Joe Kelly" radio program. “I was listening your music on the net and I really like what you're doing," Dussault stated in his request for a copy of “New Africa Suite".

In addition to stellar performances by Alaadeen (saxophones, composer, producer), his “New Africa Suite" [ASR3001] recording features the talents of: Harold O'Neal, a brilliant young pianist who most recently can be heard on Greg Osby's Blue Note records release titled “St. Louis Shoes"; a young bassist of unlimited talent and potential named Seth Lee, who also recently performed with saxophone legend, Benny Golson during his concert in Kansas City; the multi-talented drummer, Donivan Bailey, who also plays with Bobby Watson's 18th and Vine Big Band and numerous other ensembles of note; and a very talented Latin/World percussionist named Ray Stewart who is another Kansas City musician deserving wider recognition. The last song on the CD, “The Jannah Now”, features other great Kansas City artists of note too. They are: Christopher Clarke on piano, Tyrone Clark on electric bass, and Michael Warren on drums. Fine performances are captured by all of these artists…
