The Music Tech & Futures Summit is set to take place in Nashville, December 10 and 11. The industry gathering is organized by Innovation Enterprise whose business includes creating a series of such summits in multiple industries. Speakers are expected from multiple companies including Roc Nation, Beats Music, Deezer, PonoMusic, Show Dog Records and Berklee College of Music.

Innovation Enterprise describe themselves describe themselves as “an independent business-to-business multi-channel media brand focused on the information needs of Senior Big Data, Strategy, Advanced Analytics, Innovation, Digital, Finance, Operations, Publishing & Decision Support executives."

They provide a number of resources and services under the banner “Information for Innovators" including a wide range of industry conferences they've dubbed Summits.

They're putting on the Music Tech & Futures Summit whose theme is “How Music Will Marry Technology." It's an interesting theme that immediately provokes metaphor extensions and alternatives such as shotgun weddings, illicit entanglements and expensive divorce lawyers.

Speakers addressing the often fractious relationship between music and technology include:

Julien Simon, VP, Music Rights - Deezer

Tamara Conniff, EVP, Music Publishing - Roc Nation

David Levin, VP, Digital Licensing - BMI

Nathaniel Gravely, Director, Music Strategy - MTV Networks

Jen Pearce, VP, Licensing - Downtown Records

Sloane Cavitt, Director, Digital Marketing - Show Dog Records

Apparently they are interested in more speakers beyond those listed on the site.

Head over to the conference landing page and let them know you've got the insights they need for a successful marriage between music and tech.
