MINNEAPOLIS--Big Notes Productions and Winterland Studios have teamed up to produce a performance DVD featuring the music of blues musician Moses Oakland. The video was shot at Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Club in Uptown Minneapolis, where Oakland has played every Sunday night for the past 10 years, and continues this tradition. He has become a fixture in the regional blues scene, having played at venues such as the Ham Bone Blues Jam in Rochester; Jimmy B'z Blues Brews & BBQ in Davenport, Iowa; The Blues Saloon in St. Paul, and many, many others.

Big Notes Productions is owned and operated by Bradford Thompson (Bradford Entertainment), who is also the Executive Producer & Director of this DVD. Bradford says, “I saw Moses Oakland play at Famous Dave's, and was impressed by his musicianship and personality. I wanted to make this performance video as a way to support and honor him, and other greats like him."

Winterland Studios, owned and operated by Producer/Engineer Todd Fitzgerald, has recorded artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morisette, Sara McLachlan, The Black-Eyed Peas, and many others. Fitzgerald's vast experience in post-production audio proved invaluable on this project. The video was edited by Jason Brox, Video Department Manager at Winterland, whose dedication to this project has been instrumental in its completion.

The DVD, entitled Moses Oakland: Bluesman is currently available for purchase at www.bignotesfilms.com, as well as at Oakland's live performances. For the biography and performance schedule of Moses Oakland, please visit his website at www.moseso.com.
