Modern Jazz Guitarist David Wright New Music Release, "Music From The International Airport Hotel Lounge"

Music From The International Airport Hotel Lounge is the newest release by guitarist and composer David Wright. Following up his 2013 releases Jazz Socialand Juniper Snowberries this release ventures into new territory for David.

“Stylistically, this is something I've been wanting to do for a long time “ states David. Weighing in at just under forty minutes the recording featuring eight 'modern jazz' compositions, each written within the past nine months. “It captures my introspective 'winter mood'". “Compositionally, I was just trying to capture my emotional state", “I was really just going for simple, clear and honest melodies, trying to steer clear of cliches and 'licks'"

Music From The International Airport Hotel Lounge is currently available as a digital download at iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp and coming soon to Spotify and features some really fine supporting musical performances, including pianist Gianluca Grasso and Drummer Tommaso Monopoli among others.
