The Luckman Jazz Orchestra, James Newton, Conductor, presents “Miles 'n Trane." This highly anticipated fall concert is scheduled for Saturday, November 13 at 8:00 p.m., featuring music by two of the most renowned jazz artists of all time, John Coltrane and Miles Davis. The concert will be held at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex, located on the Cal State L.A. campus. Preceding the concert at 7:00p.m, there will be free talk by Newton and K-Jazz Radio host Helen Borgers. In addition, an opportunity to dine is available prior to the performance at the University Club. This bistro-style restaurant on campus offers appetizers, a full course dinner and a variety of wine selections from the menu.
