Lori Fredrics Writes and Performs a Song for the Actionaid Charity

With the help of Lori Fredrics and Auracle Music performers ActionAid campaigners gave ministers at the UK Department for International Development a Valentine's Day to remember.

A special blues song with political lyrics by Lori Fredrics was presented to Douglas Alexanderof DID to encourage him to put women's issues at the front of the UK's new HIV strategy.

Lori was joined by her husband Howard Fredrics, singer songwriter Heidi Jo Hines and action aid campaigners who were able to obtain specific commitments from him and his ministerial team to help HIV positive women around the world.

“When you deliver even a serious message in the form of a song" said Lori Fredrics"it is amazing how people take notice. I was really glad to help out the really dedicated and creative staff at ActionAid deliver their message".
