Jazz Crusaders drummer and founder Stix Hooper has just
produced what will be a classic jazz CD for jazz lovers and the
uninitiated, alike!

This remarkable collection of artists, a signature recording for the Mack Avenue Records label, features the living foundations of the house that is jazz.

The two CD set includes:
James Moody on sax,
George Bohanon on trombone,
Kenny Burrell on guitar,
Cedar Walton on piano,
Ray Brown on bass,
Jon Hendricks singing “Cloud Burst," “Last Night When We Were Young," and “New Rhumba",
Al McKibbon on bass,
Ernie Andrews singing “Old Man Jazz" ,
Shirley Horn on piano and singing “It Never Entered My Mind",
Teddy Edwards on tenor sax,
Oscar Brashear on trumpet,
and a whole lot more.

The fabulous collection of jazz greats came together for a jam session in Los Angeles last month for the recording and documentary video that will be released in September, 2000 on Stixs Mack Avenue Records label. The CD will be available at music/CD stores throughout the United States and Canada, and then worldwide; the video documentary of the historic jam session will be available through Borders Books and Music Stores.
