The Kansas Jazz Collective will present its second concert in a series on the campus of Benedictine College. The KJC is directed by music faculty performer/composer Chris Greco and each concert with the KJC presents a different view of jazz."
In addition to presenting the stylistic diversity inherent in jazz, each KJC concert has an out of town" guest performer and a changing instrumental format. This concert performance will have guest pianist George Colligan, an outstanding sideman and leader who worked in NYC with artists such as Jack DeJohnette and Phil Woods.
All Kansas Jazz Collective concerts are free and open to the public, and are made possible by the Benedictine College Convocation & Arts Committee.
