Blending the coolness of jazz with the sensuality of bossa nova, pianist/composer John Smoot, scores with his latest single, “Deus De Toda Criacao" from the upcoming CD, Journey To Brazil.

This melodic tune is gaining the attention of Bossa/Jazz fans around the globe and is quickly becoming a radio favorite in Japan, Brazil, Europe and Greece as well as the U.S.

“All of the music on this album was inspired by my recent travels to Brazil--Salvador Bahia, Fernando De Noronha, Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paulo or “sampa" as some of the locals call it. Anyone who has visited there already knows just how magical and inspiring Brazil can be."

The artist also states, “The writing process... all the music originates from a very personal space. I've noticed that as each recording is completed the project seems to have transformed into something much larger than myself now. It's very exciting! My goal as a songwriter is to resonate a unique experience with each listener and inspire the imagination."

The current single, “Deus De Toda Criacao" by John Smoot, is available worldwide on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic and Rhapsody online music stores in digital format. For markets in Latin America, the song is also available at Somlivre, iMusica, eSom and music.msn.com.br online retailers.

John Smoot is currently signed to independent record label, Arora Records, and distributed globally by IODA Alliance.
