Los Angeles favorite, Jazz Pianist George Kahn, will perform again for the Friday Night Summer Concert Series put on by LACMA (The Los Angeles County Museum of Art). Appearing with his quintet, George will be joined onstage with veteran jazz musicians Karl Vincent (bass), John Fumo (trumpet), Clayton Cameron (drums) and Larry Klimas (saxophone). The concert is on Friday evening July 24th from 6 PM to 8 PM.

George Kahn’s last summer concert was an enormous success, with an overflow crowd that gave him a truly lengthy standing ovation, so you won’t want to miss this one.

The Friday jazz series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is one of the most fun gigs in town, for the band as well as the audience. A great outdoor space, and since the show is FREE, plan to come early if you want a seat!

A major force in the Los Angeles jazz community since the late 1990s, pianist-composer George Kahn has released his sixth CD, Cover Up! The recording features Kahn's trio with bassist Brian Bromberg and drummer Alex Acuna, plus special guests. Kahn appears regularly at local jazz clubs and generously performs at a number of benefits, including a recent sold out benefit concert at The Jazz Bakery.
