Jazz Guitarist and Vocalist Monnette Sudler to Perform at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach on Sunday, March 16

PALM COAST, FL (Mar. 1, 2008)--Internationally recognized jazz guitarist, composer, vocalist and poet Monnette Sudler will perform at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach on Sunday, March 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. as part of the North East Florida Jazz Association's (NEFJA) 2008 concert series.

The Philadelphia born artist has been described as a soulful and electrifying jazz guitarist and composer. Her unique, emotional, poetic and lyrical arrangements have delighted audiences throughout the world. In addition to her solo performances, Sudler has performed with jazz greats as Grover Washington, Jr., Kenny Baron, Hugh Masakela, Dave Holland, Archie Shepp, Sonny Fortune and a host of others.

Tickets are $15 for NEFJA members and $17 for non-members and can be purchased in advance by mail (P.O. Box 352552, Palm Coast, FL 32135) or at Aimee's Hallmark in Palm Coast. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door.

The North East Florida Jazz Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the perpetuation, performance, preservation, and promotion of jazz. In addition to bringing nationally and internationally known jazz performers to the local area, NEFJA awards scholarships to talented young students enrolled in a Jazz studies program at a Florida College or University. NEFJA's 3rd Annual Jazz Festival, Legacy Jazz Fest '08, will be held May 10 - 11, in Palm Coast, Florida.
