Popular Outdoor Concert Series Features Top Smooth Jazz Artists on Memorial Day, Independence Day Weekend and Labor Day

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. - April 25, 2006 - Four of the world's most renowned smooth jazz artists, Peter White, Richard Elliot, Jeff Golub and Gerald Albright, will perform together as “Guitars, Sax and More" on Monday, May 29, at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, kicking off the second annual summer season of KKSF 103.7's Concerts on the Coast. The outdoor concert series continues with “Rendezvous All Stars," featuring Wayman Tisdale, Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler, and Brian Simpson, Monday, July 3, and concludes Monday, Sept. 4, with “Summer Storm," starring Norman Brown, Patti Austin, Paul Taylor and Alex Bugnon.

All concerts begin at 4 p.m. on a specially built stage on the resort's Gazebo Lawn, providing guests a breathtaking view overlooking the Pacific Ocean during the performance. Doors open at 3 p.m. General admission tickets for each Concert on the Coast are $85 per person, and may be purchased in advance or at the door, based on availability. Concert Schedule and Artists

Memorial Day Monday, May 29 - 4 pm
The summer Concerts on the Coast series begins on Memorial Day with “Guitars, Sax and More," a band combining an eclectic mix of smooth jazz' crme de la crme: guitarist Peter White, saxophonist Richard Elliot, guitarist Jeff Golub and saxophonist Gerald Albright, playing with an all-star keyboard player and rhythm section.

Independence Day Weekend Monday, July 3 - 4 pm
The “Rendezvous All Stars" artist lineup on Independence Day Weekend continues the series' A-list of performers with bassist Wayman Tisdale, saxophonist Kirk Whalum, guitarist and vocalist Jonathan Butler and pianist Brian Simpson.

Labor Day Monday, September 4 - 4 pm
A perfect end to a perfect summer of music, “Summer Storm" features guitarist Norman Brown, vocalist Patti Austin, saxophonist Paul Taylor and pianist Alex Bugnon.

Overnight Package
The Smooth Slumber Overnight Package includes Courtyard View accommodations for a one-night stay, or Ocean View accommodations for a two- to three-night stay; two specially reserved seats for the concert; overnight parking; and resort fee. The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay will donate a percentage of proceeds from each concert package to Bay Area nonprofit organizations, including the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation on May 29, the Coastside Family Medical Center on July 3, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Sept. 4.
