The Bar on Fifth continues its exciting collaboration with Artist in Residence, Antonio Ciacca, who will continue to perform and curate concerts seven nights a week this June.
In addition to Antonio's performances, June's calendar includes:
June 1-10: Soulful jazz guitarist Lucio Ferrara's musical resume includes collaborations with some of the greatest names in jazz today, including Benny Golson and Joey DeFrancesco.
June 12-15 and June 18-19: Wielding a deeply rooted post-bop approach that results in potent performances of originals and jazz standards, vibraphonist and bandleader Mark Sherman presents a program of energetic and vibrant jazz.
June 16-17: Pianist Greg Burk recently celebrated the release of his fourth album, Many Worlds, and presents his exciting original compositions at the Bar on Fifth.
June 23: Melodic and graceful pianist Simona Premazzi has emerged as one of the most exciting new improvisers and composers in modern jazz. On June 23, she presents her trio in an exciting performance of unique original compositions.
All performances begin at 8 p.m., and feature no cover charge, with a one drink minimum.
