Newport, RIThe JVC Jazz Festival-Newport is pleased to announce the addition of pianist/singer/songwriter Jamie Cullum to the JVC Jazz Stage on Saturday, August 14. The multi-platinum British artist has become a worldwide star on the heels of his breakout debut twentysomething, which has set records as the fastest-selling jazz debut in UK history, and debuted in the U.S. this spring to chart success and critical acclaim.



Meanwhile on the Sirius Piano Stage, pianist/host Marian McPartland has invited Newport Jazz Festival impressario George Wein to share the stage with her as the grand finale to her Saturday afternoon of on-stage interviews and piano jazz with pianists Peter Martin and Renee Rosnes.



Also on the Sirius Piano Stage, pianist Jason Moran has moved from the previously announced Saturday, August 14 schedule to Sunday, August 15 while pianists Hilton Ruiz, Mulgrew Miller and Kenny Drew, Jr. will appear in solo format on the Sirius stage on Saturday. On Sunday, the Sirius Piano Stage lineup will now include Geri Allen and Wallace Roney in a unique piano/trumpet duo and pianists Uri Caine, Bill Charlap, Harold Mabern, and Jason Moran, each performing
