EMERGING SUPERSTAR J. DASH'S MUSIC VIDEO FEATURING FLO RIDA HAS CREATED A MULTI-MEDIA DANCE CRAZE

New York, NY: Emerging superstar and music sensation, J. Dash, has created a new dance craze with his hit single “WOP." The music video featuring J. Dash's friend and multi-platinum selling rapper Flo Rida, along with other “WOP" videos, have gained attention from over 25 million YouTube viewers worldwide, resulting in over 100,000 sales on iTunes before radio airplay began. In fact, every second of every day on YouTube, someone in the world is clicking PLAY on a WOP video. “WOP" has become a Top 100 hit on the Billboard charts for eight consecutive weeks and is the perfect introductory track for the release of J. Dash's debut album, Tabloid Truth, due out in February on StereoFame Records.

J.Dash has combined his musical expertise and entrepreneurial skills to produce a multi-media sensation in “WOP" which stands for “With Out Prejudice" and this single continues to spread that message every day. To encourage interactivity with his fans, J. Dash teaches all walks of life the proper way to “WOP," paving the way for imitation videos including “White girls do the WOP," “WOP- Two and a Half Men," “Mom and Daughter Does the WOP" and countless other highly viewed videos. NFL star, Lance Moore, even brought the “WOP" to the field as seen in his touchdown celebration, this past Sunday.

“The “WOP" started with my friends and I in college," said recording artist and producer, J. Dash. “We were goofing around, dancing in the club but we were missing the track to go with our steps, so I created the “WOP." Next thing I know, people are doing their own versions of the “WOP," there has been over 200,000 downloads and millions of views on YouTube."

Recently making its TV debut on BET's “106 & Park" and now being featured on MTV Jams, “WOP," is the #1 fastest growing dance song in America and is currently ranked #39 on the Mediabase Urban Chart—the radio chart provider for USA Today & American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest and many other radio countdown shows, media outlets and industry professionals. Today, “WOP" ranks #87 on Billboard's TOP 100 R&B/Hip-Hop Song Chart.

Before introducing the “WOP" to the world, J.Dash was a piano prodigy who performed for the Jacksonville Symphony at age 5. By the time he was 8 years old, this classically trained pianist loved to play Mozart for his family and friends. Throughout his teens, however, he cut his teeth playing in various blues and jazz bands. A rapper, songwriter, producer, mixer & multi-instrumentalist, this Renaissance man also holds a degree in computer science from the University of Florida. From there, J. Dash learned the importance of marketing and employing old-school tactics to create the first ever YouTube Street Team, encouraging fans to learn the dance and join the global movement.
