Hello Jazz Listeners,
This is an introduction to a new Internet Jazz Radio Station based in New Jersey that was launched on August 15, 2013. The programming consists mostly of mainstream / traditional Jazz but also includes some Blues, Gospel (accented with a few Jazz artists) and occasional R & B / Pop tunes just to add a little flavor. Actually many jazz musicians play in more than one genre and it’s almost necessary to be able to do that to make ends meet. The music is from my personal collection (probably 90%) of CD’s that I have purchased over the years and continue to buy when I can. You will hear some of the biggest names in Jazz in addition to some very talented local and regional artists.
Out of more than 5,800 total stations on the Live365 network, this station has moved up the list and is currently ranked at about 2,300 and of the 94 Jazz Stations this station has moved up and ranks about 66 in just one month of broadcasting. Certainly there is an interest in keeping this music and station running 24/7. How do you find it? It’s very easy. Go here. Preset / program the station for your restaurant, office, auto or even your home. If you become a VIP member, you will hear music commercial free (except for my occasional rips or PSA’s). Pass the word and encourage others to do the same. Of course, the goal is to grow the music library and the station.
Already, this station has been and continues to be streamed all around the United States and Canada in addition to Japan, Thailand, Panama, United Kingdom, Kenya, Costa Rica, Brazil, Germany and about 30 other countries on a regular basis. Tune in and support the artists and this great art of Jazz.
