This is a continuing series of monthly HJS events to continue raising funds for scholarships for local middle and high school musicians.
The Hernando Jazz Society, now in its 18th season, will perform “The USA In Song” on Sunday November 11, 1:30 PM. Enjoy a nostalgic afternoon dancing to the live sounds of great tunes such as: “Moonlight In Vermont”, “Chicago”, Stars Fell on Alabama”, “Georgia”, “New York, New York”, and many more favorite tunes from years gone by, with Kim Evans, Norm Bernard, Gary Kasenberg, Kirk Reyes, and Vince Ferraro.
Bring your dancing shoes and join us at the elegant Wellington Club House, 400 Wexford Blvd, in Spring Hill, FL 34609. A cash bar and buffet lunch will be available and is provided by Sioux City Grill at Wellington.
Admission: HJS members - Free, non-members - $10.00 (does NOT include the buffet). It is suggested that non-members call 352-835-7183 to reserve space at the performance and to ensure their admittance into the Wellington Community.
