Guitarist Chuck Anderson In Media PA on Wed. Oct. 16th!

The Jazz Bridge Third Wednesdays Neighborhood Concerts Series in Media at the Unitarian Universalist Church —145 West Rose Tree Road in Media - presents guitarist Chuck Anderson on Wednesday, October 16. Anderson, who will be accompanied by bassist Eric Schreiber and drummer Ed Rick, has been innovating and breaking new ground as a player, composer and educator since he first started in the business as house guitarist for the legendary Latin Casino nightclub, playing for everyone from Sammy Davis and Peggy Lee to Billy Eckstine and Bobby Darin. After spending years as a composer, educator and author of 16 instructional books, Anderson has returned to the live Jazz arena with his recording Freefall on Dreambox Media.

The Jazz Bridge Neighborhood Concert Jazz Series is partially funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Philadelphia Jazz Project, Philadelphia Fund for Jazz Legacy and Innovation of the Philadelphia Foundation, and Painted Bride Arts Center. Jazz Bridge, a 501C public charity that assists area jazz and blues musicians in crisis, is sponsoring the Neighborhood Concerts Series in Media, as well as 40 other events this season on five area stages in the Greater Delaware Valley.
