GEORGE KAHN ‘SECRETS’ QUINTET TO PERFORM AT CATALINA JAZZ CLUB WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30TH, 2013

What happens when the 2008 Winner of the Chuck Niles Bebop Award gets together with a top Contemporary Jazz saxophonist, a star Latin Jazz trumpet player and a rhythm section featuring the drummer who played on “Birdland” with Weather Report?

Find out on Wednesday, January 30th, 2013, at 8 PM as this ‘secret’ is revealed with the George Kahn “SECRETS” QUINTET.

In celebration of Kahn’s most recent CD, SECRETS FROM THE JAZZ GHETTO, George brings his good friends Eric Marienthal, DR. Bobby Rodriguez, Lyman Medeiros and Alex Acuña to the CATALINA JAZZ CLUB in Hollywood for a special night of great Jazz.

It promises to be an exceptional night for jazz lovers, combining all of the various currents found in the “jazz ghetto”: Latin Jazz, Groove, Be Bop, Classic and Contemporary Jazz.
