Smooth Jazz returns to the sugar-white beaches of Northwest Florida this spring as the 2011 Seabreeze Jazz Festival offers a full weekend of smooth contemporary jazz entertainment. Set for April 13-17th at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL, the event has been named “Top 10 Jazz Festival in the USA" by JAZZIZ Magazine and continues to attract smooth jazz fans from all over the USA as well as Canada, Europe, and 13 other countries. Set in the new exciting venue of Pier Park in Panama City Beach, the Seabreeze Jazz Festival is unique in its approach to “an all SMOOTH JAZZ" lineup just steps away from over 150 shops, restaurants, and nightclubs—and located directly across the street from the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches known worldwide for their sugar-white sands and emerald-green waters. And new for 2011, the new Panama City International Airport is open just 8 miles from the venue providing service from Southwest Airlines and Delta.

The Seabreeze Jazz Festival is unique in that is it produced and managed by a smooth jazz radio station, and not simply a jazz festival promoter. Smooth jazz radio station WSBZ-FM Seabreeze 106.3 in Destin, FL, The Seabreeze Jazz Festival selects the talent and treats the event like playing the ULTIMATE dream set of smooth jazz on the radio. This difference results in a total synergy for the entire weekend in music and presentation. And new for 2011, The Seabreeze Jazz Festival has partnered with The Smooth Jazz Cruise to present the absolute most exciting lineup of talent on any stage. Special host to the event will be WSBZ Midday Personality Miranda Wilson.

This is George Benson's first appearance at the event and 2011 marks the 30th Anniversary of his landmark album “Breezin."
