Cyber Jazz recording artists Andre Ajamu Akinyele - bass & programming (Ah-jah-moo + Ah-kin-yay-lay); Jon O'Bergh - keyboards, piano & programming; Andrew Foster - percussion; and Alex Marks - drums will make their debut at 19 Broadway in Fairfax, CA performing their eclectic blend of jazz - funk fusion with an electronic element as Gemini Soul on Wednesday - November 7th @ 9 PM.

Gemini Soul will be performing material from their third cyber jazz CD titled, “Live : The Liquid Soul Tour," which features the music from their early 2007 release “Liquid Soul" and Ajamu Akinyele's critically acclaimed double jazz/fusion CD “Black Magic The Cyber Jazz Experience," inspired by Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock.

This isn't your typical jazz; this is Cyber Jazz! “Live : The Liquid Soul Tour" captures Gemini Soul over several shows doing what they do best; performing live. Ajamu Akinyele's bass playing is in the style of Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller and Me'Shell Ndegeocello - a sight to be seen. Jon O'Bergh's keyboard stylings capture the elements of 70's funk, reminiscent of Herbie Hancock. Andrew Foster's percussion adds a satin groove, keeping the music smooth and sexy; while Alex Marks' drum stylings take you back to the pop funk fusion of Miles Davis.

Gemini Soul's performances are exciting, engaging and displays musicianship at its best. Their performances are compared to the smooth sounds of Sade, the funk fusion of bassists Marcus Miller and Me'Shell Ndegeocello, the pop/funk/jazz fusion of Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock.

“Live : The Liquid Soul Tour" the new live jazz/fusion CD from Gemini Soul feat. Ajamu Akinyele is now available at the following retailers: www.cdbaby.com/geminisoul3; www.amazon.com; iTunes and other major online music retailers.
