A founding member of MANHATTAN TRANSFER, the original jazz vocal group, Ms. Dickins continues to enchant audiences throughout the world. She has performed and recorded with Bette Midler, The Talking Heads, Jaco Pastorius, James Taylor, Ashford & Simpson, Leonard Cohen, Barry Manilow and James Brown, to name but a few.

NICE GIRLS is her first solo album, just released on Champagne Records, and produced and arranged by Jesse Frederick, with Rob Mounsey and Nick Vincent. A virtual dream team of N.Y. and L.A. musicians also perform on this truly stellar jazz album.

Reviews and Comments continue to pour in:

“From the first listen, it invites one to spread the word and do ones share to put it among the classic swing vocal recordings of all time. NICE GIRLS may be the best kept secret among die hard Manhattan Transfer fans who want a complete collection, or those who come across that magnificent voice on the Internet or radio." —Aaron Smokey Arnold an Austin Music Reviewer

“If Tony Bennett and Sarah Vaughan had a child, she'd sound like this. Excellent song selections, wonderful interpretations ... and then there's that voice. This is an artist who's worth your attention and support." —Frenchies, Amazon.com

“Doing her music her way, for the first time, Erin has gifted us with a stunning recording. Take a walk in these beautiful musical settings and let Erin Dickins sing you a song." —Ed Shockley, Recording Artist

“I've always thought she was a great singer, because she sings from the heart, and those kinds of singers are my favorites." —Tim Hauser-co-founder of Manhattan Transfer

Dickins comes from an artistic family. Her mother, who traded photographic portraits to a local opera singer in return for singing lessons for nine-year-old Erin, was formerly a dancer with the Rockettes in New York. Erins father was a passionate amateur jazz pianist who taught Erin to sing and play, sharing with her his deep love of music.

Ms. Dickins will soon announce US and International tour dates in support of the albums release. In the meantime she continues to devote time to charitable efforts.
