Eric Mintel Quartet: Jazzing Up QVC

On Monday November 14 at 2:00p.m. EST pianist and composer Eric Mintel and the Eric Mintel Quartet will appear on the popular shopping channel QVC. Jazz music is making an appearance for the first time ever on QVC and over 87 million households throughout the country will get a chance to see and hear the Eric Mintel Quartet as they pioneer this new endeavor with a 3 CD Boxed set of Eric's music just in time for the holidays.

The boxed set includes the quartet's CD's Hopscotch (2002), Dynamo (2004) and their brand new CD Four on the Floor (2005). The performance will take place LIVE at QVC headquarters in West Chester, PA. QVC is currently the largest television network. The quartet will play a few numbers from the CD's and talk with callers and the host. Joining Eric will be Neil Wetzel on alto sax, Dave Antonow on bass and Dave Mohn on drums.

The Eric Mintel Quartet will also be seen throughout Bucks County, PA and beyond over the next few month as they perform a Hurricane Katrina Benefit Concert at Peddler's Village on November 10, they will perform their third annual Holiday Jazz Concert at Bucks County Community College on November 26 and will perform an unprecedented eleventh concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC on December 22nd.
