New England Conservatory's Bridge: Worldwide Music Connection, an opportunities Database, now offers musicians same-day email notification of requested new listings

Boston, MA - The New England Conservatory's Bridge: Worldwide Music Connection, a comprehensive opportunities database, is now offering customizable search results. Subscribers can receive same-day email notification of requested new listings matching their search criteria. The opportunities database pioneered by the NEC Career Services Center provides musicians and arts administrators with extensive listings for everything from job openings to grants to competitions and festivals. Organizations list opportunities FREE. New listings are added daily. Subscribers can tailor their searches by instrument, voice type, geographic location or type of work. Results are emailed each night.

Launched less than one year ago, Bridge replaces the former NEC Job Bulletin, and is now one of the most comprehensive resources available for musicians and arts administrators. The Bridge database includes over 1800 national and international listings. “We search dozens of websites each week, adding new listings every day," comments Dana Scott, Bridge manager. “Subscribers report that Bridge makes it easy--delivering personally tailored search results direct to their inbox."

Subscriptions are available to all individuals for a yearly fee of $55; institutional subscriptions are $75. Bridge can be found at www.newenglandconservatory.edu/career. For additional information, email [email protected] or call (617) 585-1118.
