DMJ-1129 Denis DiBlasio / Brian Betz Project: Flute / Guitar

Denis DiBlasio's latest new release is another duo recording with guitarist Brian Betz, who this time around displays his rich acoustic guitar with DiBlasio exclusively on flute in an eight-tune program of all-original compositions.

DMJ-1130 Jordan Berger's First

Acoustic and electric bassist Jordan Berger's First comprises eight original compositions (seven from the leader and one by tenorist Daniel J. Loeb) along with choice covers of Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter respectively.

DMJ-1131 Steve Rudolph (with Ivory Joe Hunter): Trio Live!

As a follow-up to their earlier (sold out!) studio session, this same superlative trio—which quite literally defines the concept of group empathy—released their live documentation of a concert from August 2005, with one Rudolph original and beautiful, swinging performances of standards by Johnny Mandel, Duke Ellington, Duke Pearson and four more.

DMJ-1132 Al Harrison Dixieland Band: Side by Side

Al Harrison on trumpet, cornet, fluegelhorn plus vocals is the guiding force behind Side by Side, with four studio cuts and nine live recordings of traditional classic Jazz imbued with a sense of unthrottled, creative fun! Please note: $1.00 from every CD sale will be donated to Jazz Bridge.

DMJ-1133 Skip Wilkins Trio: I Concentrate on You & DMJ-1135 Skip Wilkins Trio: After

Pianist / composer Skip Wilkins' latest two offerings are I Concentrate on You, an impromptu set of less-often-heard standards mixed with some familiar favorites and intended as a companion piece to the next CD After, consisting of ambitious, challenging original compositions, presenting a rare opportunity to examine two very different sets of repertoire recorded on two consecutive days by the same trio with bassist Scott Lee and Jeff Hirshfield on drums.

DMJ-1136 The Antfarm Quartet (with Jim Ridl): Live

Their latest Live recording, captured from concerts at two different venues, mixes four unique arrangements, three standards and one original composition. Straight-ahead modern jazz with a sheen of clean beauty (Philadelphia Inquirer), the ANTFARM QUARTET is an all-star ensemble.

DMJ-1137 Jef Lee Johnson (a/k/a RAINBOW CROW): Black & Loud

Extraordinarily prolific guitarist / vocalist Jef Lee Johnson continues his creative output like there's no tomorrow with his most recent alter-ego (a/k/a rainbow crow) offering, BLACK & LOUD. This latest and greatest is packed with 19 more originals and two radically re-imagined covers of Little Richard and Robert Johnson classics.

DMJ-1138 53 Stations (with Dylan Taylor): The Hilltop Sessions

This project defines what Dreambox Media is all about...nine original compositions contributed by three members of this dedicated, adventurous quartet.

DMJ-1139 Randy Sarles and KELLY MEASHEY: The Inner Urge

This dynamic duo recording intersperses three live performances with eight studio tunes including four originals and eclectic covers of Bob Dorough, Dave Frishberg, Charlie Chaplin, Bobby Timmons, Bill Withers and Jobim compositions!

...and don't forget this delightful stocking stuffer...

DMJ-1118 Mark Kramer TRIO (with Charles Fambrough): Jazz Greetings

Exquisite pianist Mark Kramer's innovative arrangements of interfaith holiday favorites are a spirited listening joy any time of the year!
