Disaster relief service at The Paramount in downtown Huntington, Long Island, NY

The Paramount is providing disaster relief services for Hurricane Sandy victims.

From The Paramount's Adam Ellis:

We are set up to collect food for Long Island Cares daily in the box office from 12p-6p

We are hosting a blood drive for the Long Island Blood Center on Tuesday from 3p-9p

We are setting up a warming station with the Town of Huntington from 12p-12a through Sunday with free soda and water

We are offering electricity for charging devices in the venue

We are giving out ice to local residents in need

Upcoming artists/bands have planned, or are planning, future charitable efforts such as:
  • Megadeth / Red Cross (concert is 11-10)
  • Wallflowers / TBD Charity (concert is 11-11)
  • Taking Back Sunday / LI Cares Food Drive (concert is 11-21)

Eligibility Criteria:
Bring ID with signature or photo.
Minimum weight 110 lbs.
Age 16 – 75 (16 year olds must have parental permission. Age 76 and over need doctor’s note)
Eat well (low fat) & drink fluids
