The Dekel Bor trio is one of the most prominent and visible groups of the New York jazz scene, performing an average of 150-200 concerts a year to enthusiastic audiences. At a time where forward-looking,dedicated working jazz bands are rare, the Dekel Bor Trio is pushing the envelope of modern jazz.
In the past 5 years, the group has toured all across the US to critical acclaim performing at top festivals, clubs and colleges during which they have drawn the attention of multi grammy-winning producer Robert Sadin (Wynton Marsalis, Gilberto Gil), known for his celebrated, Grammy-winning work with Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock. Mr. Sadin and the trio have begun a long term collaboration which have produced a limited edition album entitled Emuna (only available at live shows) and an upcoming EP to be released in June 2007.
