Israeli guitar sensation Dekel Bor will be performing tonight with two of the most exciting musician on and new york and international jazz scenes--French bassist extraordinaire Francois Moutin (member of Dekel's working trio) and drum-star-on-the-rise Ari Hoenig.

Dekel Bor is a 26-year-old artist from Israel who has taken the jazz world by storm for his focused and highly original musical vision as a composer, guitarist and bandleader. In addition to performing 100-150 nights a year leading his critically-acclaimed trio, Dekel has toured and performed in major festivals with the likes of the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra,Members of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Cellist Michael Haran, conductor Glenn Roven, jazz legend Reggie Workman, Niels-Henning Orsted-Pederson, Boris Kozlov, Ugonna Okegwo, Hans Glashnig, Rachel Z, Horace Parlan, Adam Nussbaum, Ari Hoenig , Jeff Hirshfiled, Clarence Penn, Gregory Hutchinson, Donny McCaslin, Walter Blanding, Mark Whitfield and Russell Malone, as well as many, many others.

French bass star Francois Moutin has performed with Martial Solal, Michel Portal, Antoine Herve, Daniel Humair, Andr Ceccarelli and Jean- Michel Pilc. He has also performed with Peter Erskine, Randy Brecker, Mino Cinelu, Dave Liebman, John Abercrombie, Toots Thielemans, James Moody, Terry Lyne Carrington, Richard Galliano, Michel Legrand, Archie Shepp, Trilok Gurtu, Bob Berg and Birelli Lagrene.

Ari Hoenig has shared the bandstand with the likes of Joe Lovano, Gerry Mulligan, Pat Metheny, Dave Holland and Wynton Marsalis. Today, Ari can also be found playing in the bands of any number of musicians, including Pat Martino, Joshua Redman, Wayne Krantz, Richard Bona, Chris Potter, Kurt Rosenwinkel, The Jazz Mandolin Project and Mike Stern.
