Danny Lerman to be Featured Artist on Chicago's New WNUA Sunday Show

Saxophonist Danny Lerman will be the featured Jazz artist on WNUA's new show Jazz, Chicago Style - Hosted by Brad Walseth and James Walker - on WNUA - 95.5 - heard on Sunday night- 10:00 - 12:00 p.m.

Meow Baby, the critically acclaimed current CD from Lerman, features jazz superstars such as Howard Hewitt, Fareed Hague, Hubert Laws, Bobby Lyle and Paul Jackson Jr.

Baby features songs written by Lerman with new songwriters such as Ron DeJesus, Fred Kron and Pascal Nanlohy. Included are such visual moving instrumentals as “Summer in a Hummer" “If Only" “South Beach Serenade" and the world/classically flavored “Armadeus Kiss," along side an amazing cover of Sade's “No Ordinary Love".

Produced by Norman Connors, Tal Bergman and Lerman, the project showcases Lerman's abilities to transcend musical labels and combine his love of jazz/pop/world/ballad and rhythm into a beautifully stunning flowing experience of joy. Listen to the show and hear for yourself!

Recently heard on Jazz, Chicago Style were jazz greats Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sonny Rollins and Kenny Burrell and local Chicago names such as Dee Dee Alexander and Curtis Robinson.
