One of the Web's Top Sites for Smooth Jazz, Acid Jazz, and Other Modern Jazz Styles Celebrates Return of Founder with New Look

KANSAS CITY, Mo - September 26 - ContemporaryJazz.com, one of the Web's most popular web sites for modern jazz information, recently relaunched with fresh content and a new look. The site features news, release dates, and reviews for smooth jazz, nu jazz, and other styles of contemporary jazz. The reinvigorated site marked the return of founder John Hilderbrand, who created the site in January 1996. The site was one of the first indexed web sites dedicated to contemporary jazz and has been well-established in all search engines for over a decade.

“I want ContemporaryJazz.com to be the go-to source for contemporary jazz information," says Hilderbrand. “The site is updated frequently and should have something new each time someone visits. I'm excited to return to the site and I have a lot of things I'd like do to help promote contemporary jazz." Plans are underway to offer advertising opportunities and a possible launch of ContemporaryJazz.com Internet radio.

About John Hilderbrand
John Hilderbrand launched ContemporaryJazz.com in January 1996. As a long-time fan of modern jazz, the site provided a perfect outlet to share his enjoyment of the music and to bring together similar fans. After working on the site almost daily for five years, he sold it to focus on other projects. Discovering he missed being an active contributor to the jazz world, he launched TomorrowJazz.com in September 2002, which focused primarily on acid jazz, nu jazz, remixed jazz, and jazzy house music. When the opportunity arose to return to the site he founded, he integrated his TomorrowJazz effort into ContemporaryJazz.com.
