New York- June 4, 2001: In another first from a timeless great, world renowned Jazz recording artist Clifford Adams, has signed an agreement with eSRT.com for what could be the next distribution paradigm for the music industry. “Consumer Direct Media Manufacturing" promises to be the music distribution model of the future. It allows consumers to buy CD's direct from the manufacturer. Best of all, the Artist maintains artistic and financial control. In what is being hailed as an Independence Day for Independent minded musicians, Clifford Adams notes: “I've been waiting 30 years for this".
In the deal between eSRT.com and Clifford Adams, Mr. Adams maintains full rights to his music, and pays no royalties to eSRT.com. For eSRT.com's part they receive a small order processing fee and associated CD manufacturing costs.
Clifford Adams' second solo CD and first Smooth Jazz release entitled “Cliff Notes" is due to be released June, 2001, and is available exclusively through eSRT.com. Mr. Adams is most known for being a member of the band Kool & the Gang.
