Chocolate Tango “The Event” is coming to Montclair State University this Valentines Day 2009. The event will take place at the Montclair State University Memorial Auditorium on Saturday February 14th, 2009 from 3pm-6 pm.
Chocolate Tango is a variety show that brings together under one roof, the best chocolate makers in America, tango artists from Argentina, and today’s top stand-up comedians.
The day starts with two very funny stand-up comedians, ventriloquist, Vince Dantona and funny man Joey Kola. Immediately following the comedy show is the tango concert, which features exceptionally talented musicians and dancers from Argentina.
Following the concert there is a chocolate tasting a few steps away in the lobby/ reception area. Andrew Garrison who was voted the #1 chocolatier in America by the Food Network provides the chocolates. If you ever wondered what chocolate on the highest-level tastes like, this is it. You will be able to walk around and taste many varieties of chocolate and experience total bliss. There will be chocolate fountains as well.
This chocolate tasting is also diabetic-friendly. There will be a separate table of chocolates that are suitable for diabetics. These chocolates are not just sugar free but they taste great. The entire event lasts 3 hours.
Part of the proceeds of this event will go to local charities in Montclair N.J as well as the Institute for Educational Achievement. Founded in 1995, (IEA) is a private, non-profit educational program providing highly individualized educational services to students with autism.
The concept in creating this event was to engage all six of your senses... touch, smell, sight, taste, sound and humor.
