Celebration of Jazz Guitar - Jazz at Lincoln Center

JAZZ GUITAR CELEBRATION OF HALL OF FAMERS DJANGO REINHARDT & CHARLIE CHRISTIAN

WHO/WHAT:
Jazz at Lincoln Center celebrates in concert the induction of legends Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian into the Nesuhi Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame. The concert will feature the music of the two masters performed by guitarists Bobby Broom, Birli Lagrne, Russell Malone and Frank Vignola with rhythm section powered by drummer/music director Lewis Nash and Frank Wess on flute and tenor saxophone.

**Free pre-concert lecture with Lewis Nash along with other performers and Jazz at Lincoln Center's Manager of Public Programming Ken Druker will discuss the music in the Irene Diamond Education Center at 7 p.m.**
