An Evening With Sutton Foster" will be part of the Center Theatre Group's DouglasPlus series.
Foster won the 2002 Tony and Drama Desk awards for playing the naive heroine in Thoroughly Modern Millie." She also has starred on Broadway in Shrek: The Musical," Young Frankenstein" and Little Women: The Musical." She earned Tony nominations for her work in several of those shows as well as for her performance in The Drowsy Chaperone," which received its U.S. premiere in 2005 at CTG's Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the concerts are being offered first to CTG donors and Douglas season-ticket holders. They will go on sale to the public April 14.
