It's amazing to see how the kids react to blues music", says Dyson, When we started The Blue Shoe Project, we had no idea that the blues had such a profound ability to connect with students from all backgrounds." Dyson adds, It is such an honor to be able to bring this music into the lives of the kids at TJ Lee Elementary School, where I spent kindergarten through 5th grade of my childhood! My 5th grade teacher is still there. I can't wait to see her face!" Dyson later explained that he hopes his efforts with The Blue Shoe Project will inspire other young people to join the non-profit sector and follow their hearts in whatever path they may choose.
