Twenty-six high school musicians have to wait until Tuesday night to find out which of them will win full scholarships to Berklee College of Music.
But they wont be spending the weekend worrying. The students - from Boston and cities across the United States - will be busy playing at the first City Music Festival, which starts tomorrow and runs through Monday.
The main goal is to really highlight the students who are hardworking, dedicated and who may not otherwise have the means or access to a precollege experience, said Krystal Banfield, director of Berklees City Music program.
