All About Jazz: Year in review and looking ahead!

SOURCE: Published: | 2,012 views
Dear friends,

What a magnificent year! In 2013, we transformed All About Jazz to expand coverage, improve ease of use, and make it more useful to all our readers. Jazz Near You took a major step forward with the release of the Jazz Near You app. Fans from 250 cities worldwide receive our event information across every major device type—and we're just scratching the surface of Jazz Near You's potential! We're also ending 2013 on a high note with the release of the first issue of All About Jazz Magazine—free at! Look for it soon.

We'd like to thank everyone who helped propel All About Jazz and Jazz Near You forward in 2013. Your active involvement kept us inspired and focused. I'd like to particularly thank our readers who contacted us with their suggestions, ideas and kind words. We implemented many of your suggestions over the course of the year, and our websites are better as a result. Thank you!

2014 is upon us and we're ready to roll up our sleeves and get busy with some very cool projects including video events, a new photo gallery, a cross platform version of the JNY app, a musician awards program and a complete retooling and refacing of our websites.

If you're a fan of All About Jazz and Jazz Near You and want to support our cause, please make a donation, join our staff, subscribe to the Jazz Near You newsletter, download our Jazz Near You app, like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter. We look forward to connecting with you in 2014!

Until then, Merry Christmas and Warm Wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year!
