All About Jazz Improves MP3 Download of the Day Service

To our musician, record label and publicity firm partners:

We made several recent changes to the All About Jazz Download of the Day service resulting in improved download performance.

With the latest upgrade...

• We replaced the Flash music player with an HTML5 music player that works across all devices;
• We improved the appearance of the page where we present your track and prominently display a “BUY ALBUM” button;
• We created an RSS feed for the download of the day;
• We created a Twitter Download of the Day page;
• We post a link to the Download of the Day on the AAJ Facebook page and the AAJ Twitter page;
• We added a “Trending” box to the Download of the Day archive page and added “previous” and “next” scrolling between tracks to increase discovery;
• We placed a Download of the Day box on various pages including the AAJ home page;
• We’re working on a two download charts: one by editor rank and one by download count. Each chart will be posted as a news announcement and syndicated.
