The quartet is about to embark on its first tour outside Asia, following the launch last year of the electrifying Live at the Living Room Jazz Festival, Bangkok (Jazznote Records, 2011).

All About Jazz contributor Ian Patterson will be on the road with the Asian Jazz All-Stars Power Quartet from the 12th to the 25th November, beginning with rehearsals, workshops and warm-up gigs in Singapore and finishing with concerts in France.

In between, the Asian Jazz All-Stars Power Quartet will perform at the London Jazz Festival in the Pizza Express Jazz Club, Dean Street, on Sunday 18th November. This is an all too rare opportunity for the capital’s jazz fans to see some of Asia’ very best jazz musicians performing their powerful, electro-acoustic jazz fusion, which draws inspiration from the Larry Goldings
