Barreto has played with such artists as Jose Feliciano, Jerry Gonzalez, Dom Famularo, Willie Coln, Ralph Irizarry, Bobby Valentn and others. During a stint as musical director and bassist for Puerto Ricos popular late-night talk show, Anda Pal Cara, he was touted as one of Puerto Ricos premier bassists. Agustin Barreto, a native of Puerto Rico, started playing electric bass at age 16 and soon discovered his gift and passion for music. He developed quickly playing in local bands and shows and soon decided to study music seriously and become a professional musician. He is also an arranger and producer and has played and recorded with many artists in the Latin, Jazz, Rock and Pop fields. He has received endorsements from La Bella strings and Gallien-Krueger amplifiers.
