Tomorrow in Philadelphia, the local chapter of the Recording Academy is sponsoring a one-day music conference called Independent's Day, focused on entrepreneurship for the music-maker. The event is broken up into several themed discussions focusing on the digital and business aspects of today's music industry, and we'll be there to give you the inside scoop.

Speakers include Victoria Camera (Vice President of ReverbNation), Kyle Marler (Founder of Distro.fm), Ariel Hyatt of Ariel PR, Chris Schwartz of Ruffhouse Records, Dan Petruzzi (President of OkayPlayer), Emily White of Readymade Records, Michael Fiebach (Founder of Fame House), Greg Hammer (Managing Director at Red Bull Records), Kristin Thompson of the Future Music Coalition, and Tony Van Veen of Disc Makers / CDBaby. Hypebot's own Hisham Dahud will be in attendance to conduct live Tweets throughout, so be sure to tune in tomorrow to our Twitter account (@Hypebot) to follow along. We'll also be posting a recap of the event next week.

The event is scheduled to take place tomorrow at Drexel University's Nesbitt Hall from 9AM to 8PM EST. For more information visit here, or RSVP here.
